We both are PhD candidates in sustainability from the Solvay Brussels School with a focus on environmental economics.
Arthur
Specialised in computing the carbon footprint of businesses, my background is rooted in market analysis, experience largely gained while working at Apple in London. I possess a skill set that allows me to conduct comprehensive market research and deliver insightful presentations to a wide range of stakeholders. In addition to my research activities, I also serve as a mathematics instructor for first-year students, demonstrating my dedication to knowledge sharing. Beyond my academic pursuits, I find both comfort and challenge in activities such as yoga, hiking, and kitesurfing. I am currently president of the Saint-Gilles Red Cross, demonstrating my dedication to humanitarian initiatives and sustainability through people.
Julia
Thanks to my academic research, I am specialised in strategies to mitigate carbon footprints. Prior to this, my journey in the sustainability field began as I worked with a non-governmental organization dedicated to the conservation of coastal ecosystems in Mexico. This experience sparked my passion for environmental conservation and sustainable practices. My desire to contribute to a more sustainable economic future led me back to the Université libre de Bruxelles in 2021. Since then, my journey has been marked by collaboration with various companies, where I have had the privilege of designing and delivering sustainability training programs for diverse audiences. Apart from my engagement in sustainability, I am a passionate gardener and dancer.
